Our Founder Olga Maria of Dreamsinheels.com recently visited one of the smallest countries in Europe and in the world, Luxembourg. Luxembourg may seem like a business country or you might be aware that have one of the European Parliaments in Europe, but what you might have missed is the beautiful panoramas, fairytale castles, friendly vibe and of course the best part, that almost everyone speaks 4 or 5 languages (English, French, German, Luxembourgish, etc.) Check out these instagram photos that will totally make you want to visit ASAP.

This is the town residence of the Grand Duke, the grand-ducal palace in Luxembourg. It has unquestionably one of the most beautiful façades in the city (Flemish Renaissance, 16th century). I was also looking forward to see the interior since I heard is so Majestical but it can only be visited exclusively during specific days in the summer: July 15th to September 3rd. She lives life in her own little fairytale. Here in the background you can see one of the most historical monuments in Europe, Vianden Castle. Vianden Castle, located in Vianden in the north of Luxembourg, is one of the largest fortified castles west of the Rhine. With origins dating from the 10th century, the castle was built in the Romanesque style from the 11th to 14th centuries. Isn’t fairytale like? What’s your favorite castle? ? @heldonovan

June 21st seems to be a lucky travel day for me. On June 21, 2015, I visited Canada for first time, landing in Halifax on the Nova Scotia Region of Eastern Canada. I spent an amazing 2 weeks on a press trip around Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. Oh June 21, 2016, I visited Germany for first time, landing in Düsseldorf. The round trip ticket ended up as the beginning of a one way adventure because I skipped my return flight to New York and embarked on a solo travel journey, visiting over 20 countries (thus far) and countless cities, including Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, Sweden, Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania and many more. So, happy one year anniversary of my living in Europe and as a full-time digital nomad! It has been a whirlwind tour of fun, magical adventures and some hiccups (since nothing in life is perfect) but I wouldn’t have it any other way. If someone would have asked me, “Would you do it all over again?” The answer is YES! And guess how it all started…started with a leap of faith, a stamp in a passport, meeting new friends, angels around me and a suitcase full of wanderlust or like they say in German, fernweh. Fast forward to today, June 21, 2017. I’m once again visiting a country for first time, one of the smallest in Europe, Luxembourg.
